HETT Panelen & Profielen B.V. operates this website and webshop. This statement explains which personal data we collect, why we do so, who we share it with and what rights you have. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation we are the controller of your data.

Which data we process

Depending on what you do with us, we process:

• Contact details — your name, e-mail address, telephone number, invoice and delivery address.
• Order details — what you ordered, the dimensions and options you supplied, the amount, the date and the status of your order.
• Payment details — the payment method chosen and confirmation that payment has been made. Your card or account number does not reach us: our payment provider handles that.
• Your enquiry — the dimensions, photos and explanation you leave in a quote or contact form.

What we use it for, and on what basis

• Carrying out your order — making, delivering, invoicing and handling the warranty. Basis: performance of the contract.
• Answering your enquiry — preparing a quote, calling you back if something about your dimensions is unclear. Basis: performance of the contract or your consent.
• Our administration — keeping invoices as the tax authorities require. Basis: legal obligation.
• Keeping the website working and improving it — measuring which pages are used and preventing abuse. Basis: legitimate interest, and for non-essential cookies your consent.
• Newsletter and advertising — only if you have given consent for it. You can unsubscribe in one click in every e-mail.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with parties that do something for us, and only what is needed for that:

• Our hosting provider, where the website and the orders are stored.
• Mollie, our payment provider, for handling your payment.
• Carriers and our installation partner, for delivery and installation.
• Our accountant, for the financial administration.
• Google and Meta, for measuring website use and for advertising — but only if you have consented to that via the cookie notice.

With each of these parties we have laid down that they may use your data only for us and not for themselves.

Transfer outside Europe

Our own systems are located in Europe. For some Google and Meta services, data may be transferred to the United States. That happens on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep order and invoice data for seven years, because the tax authorities require it. Quote requests that do not lead to an order we keep for two years, so we can still help you if you come back later. Newsletter data we keep until you unsubscribe.

Security

The website runs over a secure connection and access to orders is shielded. No security is perfect; so do not send us sensitive data through channels that are not intended for it.

Your rights

You have the right to see your data, to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to the processing, ask us to restrict it, and request your data in a transferable file. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time — that then applies going forward.

Send your request to info@hettveranda.nl. We respond within a month. To prevent us handing data to the wrong person, we may ask you to identify yourself.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, let us know — then we will sort it out. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Children

Our webshop is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from people under the age of sixteen. If you think we have done so anyway, get in touch and we will delete it.

Changes

We adjust this statement when our way of working changes. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
